Energy efficiency and environmental stewardship, seemingly age-old architectural issues, are becoming increasingly important in the contemporary business of architecture. We maintain a high personal responsibility to the environment and to the efficient operation and functionality of your building projects; and as such we insist, as part of our normal scope of services, on presenting you with both new and innovative technical solutions and time-tested techniques for assuring that your building is the most efficient and environmentally sensitive that it can be. This insistence is not only for our peace of mind and for the good of future generations, but its also for the sake of your check book.
In
addition to our persistence on environmental stewardship
in design, we also can provide you with LEED Certification
services for your project. LEED, or Leadership in Energy
and Environmental Design is a rating system administered
by the US Green Building Council (USGBC) that grades a project
for its energy consumption and environmental stewardship.
River Street is at the head of the class in pushing LEED
certification and environmental stewardship. We are a member
of the USGBC and have LEED Accredited Professionals on staff.
