Designed as a shell office building, gracious six foot windows were placed 3 feet above the finished floor with 2 feet of opaque glass to allow exam rooms natural light while maintaining patient privacy. Mullions were stationed at typical exam room or office widths thus increasing type of occupancy. A balcony surrounds the third floor allowing employees to seek fresh air on breaks. As the building sits on the edge of a residential neighborhood, special attention was paid to exterior lighting. Parking lot footcandles are low so as not to encroach while the building surfaces are lit allowing for safety measures.
