For us, the conventional distinctions of architecture based on use, such as health care or retail, serve only as an organizational guide. To us, the task of the architect is not structured by the use of the building, but more, to durability, function, efficiency, and beauty. Good architecture supersedes use – if the architecture is successful, then what once was a train station might now be a hotel.
